Job Description

We are seeking skilled Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have technical expertise in operating and maintaining heavy machinery, particularly those used in the mining and construction industries. This role plays a crucial part in the production and quality assurance of materials.

Responsibilities

• Execute the operation of crushing, grinding, and polishing machines to produce raw materials.
• Assist in planning and scheduling production runs.
• Enforce quality control measures during production.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of materials.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay current with equipment updates and operational techniques.
• Conduct hazardous material handling with utmost care.
• Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in High Explosives Handling is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in blasting operations or heavy machinery operation.

Certifications

• OSHA Certification in Safety
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local regulations and permits for blasting: Familiarity with the relevant legislation and guidelines for safe blasting operations.
