Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Tax Advisor with a strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance to join our team in Reading. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of individual, corporate, and VAT tax, helping clients to navigate their tax obligations effectively. Responsibilities

• Build client relationships through proactive communication and support.
• Guide clients through different tax structures to optimise their tax position.
• Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects related to taxation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Studies
• Master's degree or equivalent qualification is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax advisory or related field

• Individually and Corporate Taxation
• Compliance Management

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving Skills
• Team Player

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Taxation Certificate or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using accounting software.: Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or similar.
• Knowledge of financial regulations.: Understanding of financial compliance and regulations affecting tax matters.
