Job Description

We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join our vibrant team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be integral in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and facilitating seamless integration and delivery processes. You will work collaboratively with development and IT teams to ensure operational excellence and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud infrastructure scalability and performance optimization.
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and rectify issues in production environments.
• Continually improve and automate operational processes within the team.
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system health and optimal performance.
• Engage in capacity planning and performance modelling.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles

Technical Skills

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• AWS
• CI/CD Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Terraform: Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting: Proficiency in writing scripts to automate cloud operations.
