Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Rehabilitation Counselors to join our team in London. The successful candidates will provide support to individuals facing physical, mental, or emotional challenges, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals through tailored support plans and counselling.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client eligibility for rehabilitation services based on assessments.
• Provide comprehensive support to clients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Develop training materials and resources to assist clients in their recovery.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages client engagement and participation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Assist clients in setting and achieving realistic rehabilitation goals.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline
• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counselling is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Motivational Interviewing

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• National Certified Counselor (NCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with evidence-based practices: Familiarity with practices supported by research for effective rehabilitation.
