Target Aircraft Technician

Job Description

As a Target Aircraft Technician, you will be integral in maintaining and troubleshooting our fleet of target aircraft that support military training exercises. Your expertise will help ensure that these vital systems perform optimally under various operational conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections and maintenance tasks on target aircraft.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electronic failures.
• Ensure aircraft meet operational readiness standards.
• Handle operational control of target aircraft during training missions.
• Compile maintenance reports and present findings to management.
• Coordinate with other departments for operational success.
• Oversee compliance with safety and aviation regulations.
• Mentor and supervise new technicians in the team.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license
• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• Preferred experience with aerial target systems or military aircraft.
