Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our Wolverhampton team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and experience in conducting environmental impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Produce and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the development of environmental management systems.
• Conduct field surveys and data collection as needed.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
• Participate in public consultation processes regarding major projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental assessments and consultancy

• Sustainability Practices

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• Environmental Professional Certification (EPC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in community engagement: Good background in engaging and consulting with local communities.
