Job Description

We are seeking a talented Film Set Designer to create captivating and immersive set designs for a range of film productions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scenic design and a passion for storytelling through visual mediums. You will collaborate closely with directors and production teams to bring scripts to life through your creativity and design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans and elevations for set designs.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to acquire necessary materials and props.
• Supervise and mentor junior set designers and interns.
• Conduct site visits to assess locations and tailor designs accordingly.
• Ensure that all set designs reflect the film's period and style accurately.
• Collaborate with the costume and makeup departments to maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
• Manage project timelines to ensure all sets are completed ahead of filming.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts, Production Design, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive set design experience in film or television production

Technical Skills

• Photoshop

Languages

• English: Fluent
