Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Technician to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations within our organization. The successful candidate will carry out regular inspections, develop safety protocols, and provide training to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and organisational policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to safety protocols.
  • Prepare and present reports on health and safety compliance to management.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops on health and safety topics.
  • Assist in emergency response training and mock drills.
  • Support during safety audits and inspections from regulatory authorities.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including safety regulators and contractors.
  • Evaluate and improve existing safety practices based on industry standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a health and safety role.
Technical Skills
  • Incident Investigation

Certifications
  • NEBOSH Certificate
Languages
  • English: Fluent
