Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our Newcastle upon Tyne team. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house systems and servers. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing and maintaining computer systems, as well as supporting users across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software.
  • Provide training and support for new IT employees.
  • Manage user access rights and permissions.
  • Respond to technical support requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate IT projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software.
  • Perform regular updates and patches.
  • Gather feedback from users to improve IT services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT administration
