Job Description

The Edge Glue Machine Tender is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting edge glue machines used in furniture and wood product manufacturing. You will ensure the quality of output while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate edge glue machines while maintaining high safety standards.
• Ensure consistent quality by regularly checking output and making adjustments.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on machines.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity.
• Maintain logs of production metrics and machine performance.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisations.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss operational challenges and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or woodworking

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
