Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Migration Analyst to join our expanding team in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, executing, and validating data migration processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure data integrity and accuracy, while leveraging your technical expertise to automate migration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration initiatives using industry-standard processes and tools.
• Conduct data analyses to evaluate quality and readiness for migration.
• Coordinate with IT teams to configure and set up migration environments.
• Implement data security protocols throughout the migration process.
• Assist in post-migration support and data validation.
• Consult with management to optimize data migration workflows.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in data migration.
• Document lessons learned and best practice recommendations for future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Data Science or IT
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or migration

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel
• Python or R
• Data Warehousing Concepts

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodologies: Hands-on experience in Agile environments and project management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI): Ability to create insightful visualizations for data reporting.
