Construction Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Manager in our Liverpool office, you will lead diverse construction projects. The role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Oversee project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct regular site meetings to ensure teamwork and communication.
• Review construction schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations for staff and subcontractors.
• Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction roles

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Membership
