Responsibilities

• Support catchers in the efficient catching and handling of marine life.
• Keep work areas clean and organised during the catching process.
• Adhere strictly to safety measures to protect yourself and your team.
• Work in cooperation with fellow workers to achieve daily objectives.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors on any arising issues.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of fishing gear.
• Maintain proper records of catches as necessary.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss strategies and improvements.
• Take initiative in learning about marine conservation practices.

Requirements

Education

• No specific degree required, but any certification in fisheries management would be beneficial.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with handheld devices for scanning items

Languages
