Job Description

As a Green Building Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable building practices and ensuring that projects comply with environmental standards. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to design buildings that reduce energy consumption and minimise environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing buildings for energy efficiency improvements.
• Guide clients through the green building certification process.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and green technologies.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Critically review regulatory changes impacting urban sustainability.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on sustainability practices.
• Assist in the development of educational materials on green building.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Postgraduate qualifications in sustainability are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in green building design

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Building Information Modelling (BIM)

• Negotiation Skills
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• ISO 50001 Energy Management System Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
