Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Brighton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs, and have experience in both residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through compelling design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and communicate design visions effectively to clients.
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including schedules and budgets.
• Assist in the selection of colours, materials, and furnishings.
• Review and approve contractor bids and oversee installations.
• Provide on-site supervision during project execution.
• Ensure the final design meets all specifications and client expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Design
• Master's degree in Design is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in high-end residential design

Technical Skills

• Revit
• 3DS Max

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in presentation software: Experience in creating compelling presentations to showcase design concepts.
• Previous experience in commercial design projects: Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of commercial spaces.
