Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and repairing tools and dies that are crucial for our manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of engineering principles are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop tooling solutions that enhance production efficiency.
• Ensure tools are produced within budget and time constraints.
• Update existing tools and dies for improved performance.
• Liaise with suppliers for materials and tooling components.
• Create prototypes for testing before full production.
• Identify areas for improvement in tooling processes and implement changes.
• Lead projects related to new tool development and enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred

Technical Skills

• Tool Design
• Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Manufacturing Process Improvement Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of 3D printing technologies: Experience with additive manufacturing techniques.
