Job Description

As a Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, physical, and social development of our children. This position requires creativity, patience, and a passion for working with kids.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to children, nurturing their unique needs.
• Observe and facilitate children’s activities to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining records.
• Promote inclusivity and diversity within the childcare setting.
• Engage with local community resources to enhance activities and programs.
• Monitor and report any concerns regarding children's welfare.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Studies
• Relevant First Aid certification

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in childcare settings.

• Behaviour Management
• Child Safety Regulations

• Organisational Skills

Certifications

• Enhanced DBS Check
• Child Protection Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in after-school programs: Involvement in planning and facilitating after-school care and activities.
