Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Policy Consultant to join our dynamic team in Wakefield. You will be responsible for analysing environmental policies and making recommendations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. A strong passion for sustainability and environmental issues is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current environmental policies and their effectiveness.
• Create policy recommendations based on research findings.
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
• Draft briefings and presentations for senior management.
• Assist in compliance assessments and audits.
• Contribute to grant proposals and funding applications for environmental initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars to share knowledge on policy impacts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental laws and trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy or related discipline
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years in a related field, preferably with consultancy experience
