Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Operations Specialist to streamline our supply chain processes in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and optimising the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the supply chain, ensuring smooth logistics and inventory control.
• Assess supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilise data analytics tools to forecast demand and manage supply schedules.
• Assist in the development of supply chain strategy and risk management.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers, warehouses, and retailers.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction in transportation and logistics.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure effective stock levels.
• Train and mentor junior staff in supply chain best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations
