Job Description

We are seeking a passionate individual for the position of Forest and Conservation Technician. You will assist in conserving biodiversity and natural habitats while conducting data analysis and preparing comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys and collect ecological data.
  • Evaluate the impact of conservation efforts on local biodiversity.
  • Assist with public outreach and community education initiatives.
  • Generate reports based on field data and findings.
  • Develop strategies for improved conservation practices.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align conservation efforts.
  • Ensure all resources are managed in accordance with regulations.
  • Assist in training new staff and volunteers on best practices.
  • Participate in grant writing for funding conservation projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental or conservation roles
