We are seeking a passionate individual for the position of Forest and Conservation Technician. You will assist in conserving biodiversity and natural habitats while conducting data analysis and preparing comprehensive reports.
Responsibilities
Conduct field surveys and collect ecological data.
Evaluate the impact of conservation efforts on local biodiversity.
Assist with public outreach and community education initiatives.
Generate reports based on field data and findings.
Develop strategies for improved conservation practices.
Coordinate with other departments to align conservation efforts.
Ensure all resources are managed in accordance with regulations.
Assist in training new staff and volunteers on best practices.
Participate in grant writing for funding conservation projects.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
Experience
3+ years of relevant experience in environmental or conservation roles
