We are on the lookout for a Solar Project Engineer to join our dedicated team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy systems, specifically solar energy design and implementation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of solar projects.
  • Evaluate solar technology options and provide recommendations.
  • Work closely with the engineering and design teams to develop project specifications.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Engage with clients to communicate project updates and gather feedback.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist in project proposals.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree is desirable
  • Solar PV Design Software Proficient in using solar design software such as PVsyst or Helioscope.
  • Project Management Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously within time and budget constraints.
  • Strong Communication Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking Analytical mindset for assessing project risks and making informed decisions.
  • Certified Solar PV Installer
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Familiarity with energy management software: Experience using energy management systems for project optimization.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency regulations: Understanding energy efficiency standards and how they apply to solar projects.
