Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and analysis of mechanical systems, with a focus on optimising efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Create engineering documentation and specifications for projects.
• Support manufacturing processes by addressing technical queries.
• Conduct analysis of product performance and reliability.
• Assist in creating budgets and cost estimates for projects.
• Engage with clients to determine project requirements and expectations.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for mechanical applications.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product standards.
• Assist in training and development of engineering staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management
