Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in York. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising manufacturing processes, developing solutions to enhance productivity, and ensuring efficient operations across the board.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency.
• Work closely with management to align engineering objectives with business goals.
• Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for process efficiency.
• Utilise statistical methods to analyse data for decision-making.
• Lead projects aimed at continuous improvement.
• Oversee equipment and layout changes to maximise efficiency and safety.
• Facilitate problem-solving workshops with teams to encourage collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Professional certification in Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering roles
