Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our Liverpool team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful spaces that reflect the client's needs and lifestyle. You will be responsible for designing and implementing creative design solutions, working closely with clients, suppliers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client consultations to gather requirements and preferences.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Select appropriate furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for projects.
• Monitor project progress and adjust designs as necessary.
• Facilitate smooth communication between clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Lead design meetings and prepare agendas.
• Contribute to the creative direction of the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Building Codes
• Project Management Tools

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Client Relations

Certifications

• Professional Practice in Interior Design (RICS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with retail design: Experience designing commercial retail spaces.
• Knowledge of furniture design: Understanding of furniture design principles and trends.
