Job Description

As a Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating gear shavers to produce precision gears for both metal and plastic. Your role is crucial in ensuring that production meets high-quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Run machines to produce precision components while adhering to safety protocols.
• Train junior operators in machine setup and operation.
• Utilize technical drawings and blueprints to establish specifications for production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a similar role within the automotive or aerospace industry is an advantage
