Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to oversee our network infrastructure in York. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting network systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily network operations and resolve connectivity issues.
• Oversee the installation of new network equipment.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Respond promptly to network outages and disruptions.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for the network.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance network efficiencies.
• Create user accounts and manage access permissions.
• Train staff on network usage policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Additional certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in network administration
