Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Sheffield. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing support for hardware and software systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve escalated IT issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
  • Set up and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Assist in the security of IT systems and data.
  • Provide training and support for new software tools.
  • Actively participate in IT strategy planning and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive customer service attitude at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • IT certifications (ITIL, Cisco) are a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years in IT support or help desk environments
