Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about animal welfare and has experience in both surgery and general practice. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide variety of cases, ensuring the highest standard of care for every animal.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using various medical equipment and techniques.
• Develop and administer treatment plans tailored to individual animal needs.
• Engage clients in discussions about pet health and wellbeing.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and veterinary students.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of surgical and treatment areas.
• Foster a supportive environment for staff and pet owners alike.
• Participate in practice meetings to discuss case management and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) or equivalent
• Additional certifications in specialised veterinary fields are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mixed or companion animal practice
