Knockout Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Knockout Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machinery essential to the casting process. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure high production efficiency and top-notch quality of the finished products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate knockout machines for sand cast molds.
• Ensure all operational tasks are performed safely.
• Perform quality checks on finished castings.
• Support the team in achieving production targets.
• Maintain accurate logs of production metrics.
• Identify and rectify issues in the production process.
• Assist in training new operators on safety and machine operation.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
• Report any machinery faults or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
