Job Description

As a Ship Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of maintenance and repairs for maritime vessels. Your responsibilities will include coordinating repair teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage comprehensive maintenance schedules for various vessels.
  • Assist in the implementation of reliability engineering practices.
  • Evaluate and select vendors for repair services and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for recurring issues during repairs.
  • Collaborate with environmental teams to maintain compliance during operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or a related field
  • Professional qualifications in project management are advantageous
