Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Consultant to enhance our team in Bristol. This role requires a proactive individual who can assess potential security threats and develop effective strategies to mitigate risks. You will work closely with clients to understand their security needs and implement tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve overall cybersecurity measures.
• Liaise with vendors to secure necessary security tools and software.
• Conduct cybersecurity training sessions for staff.
• Respond to security alerts and lead incident response activities.
• Review and update security policies and procedures regularly.
• Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations related to cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with other departments to align cybersecurity efforts.
• Provide expert advice on security breaches and how to mitigate risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity consultancy role
