Job Description

As a Food Services Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service department. You will be responsible for managing a talented team, developing menus, and ensuring the highest levels of food quality and customer satisfaction. Your leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee daily kitchen operations and staff management.
  • Create and implement exciting menus that reflect current culinary trends.
  • Manage food purchasing and inventory to ensure fresh ingredients.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Train staff on culinary techniques and best practices.
  • Handle scheduling and payroll for kitchen staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences through high-quality food service.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive kitchen culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Additional certifications in food safety and management are a significant advantage
Experience
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in food service with at least 2 years in a managerial role
