Production Worker - Board Turner

Job Description

Join our team as a Board Turner, where you will be responsible for efficiently handling and flipping boards in our manufacturing plant. This position requires strength and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on boards during the handling process.
• Assist in the setup and operation of machinery.
• Document production quantities for reporting.
• Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks.
• Support other production staff in high-demand situations.
• Participate in regular safety meetings.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not essential.

Technical Skills

• Physical strength and stamina
• Basic machinery operation

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment: Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
• Forklift truck license: Certification to operate a forklift safely is preferred.
