Job Description
As a Gas Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of gas to homes and businesses. Your responsibilities will include maintenance, repair, installation, and inspections of gas utility systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on gas lines.
Install new gas meters and regulators.
Conduct safety checks on gas installations.
Work with a team on large installation projects.
Communicate effectively with customers to resolve gas issues.
Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Provide customer education on gas safety and usage.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Prior experience in a gas utility or similar role is preferred.
