Job Description

As a Gas Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of gas to homes and businesses. Your responsibilities will include maintenance, repair, installation, and inspections of gas utility systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on gas lines.
  • Install new gas meters and regulators.
  • Conduct safety checks on gas installations.
  • Work with a team on large installation projects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve gas issues.
  • Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Provide customer education on gas safety and usage.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in a gas utility or similar role is preferred.
