Job Description

As a Mental Health Therapist at Mental Health Services Ltd., you will engage with clients to provide effective therapy and support. Your role will involve creating a safe environment for clients to express their feelings and work through their challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct therapeutic assessments to determine clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapeutic plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions as required.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field
  • Professional registration with a recognised board (e.g., HCPC, BACP)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a mental health setting
Technical Skills
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
