Signal Tester

Job Description

As a Signal Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of communication systems. You'll be responsible for testing, maintaining, and repairing signal systems and equipment. A thorough understanding of electronic theory and the capability to interpret schematics are essential.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostics on signalling equipment to ensure optimum performance.
• Investigate signal failures and rectify faults promptly.
• Assist in the installation of new signal systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of signal testing results and repairs performed.
• Assist in improving testing protocols and methodologies.
• Support training initiatives for junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in related fields.

Technical Skills

• Experience with communication systems
• Data analysis

Certifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electronics

Languages

• English: Fluent
