Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wildlife Conservation Scientist to join our team in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will conduct research on local wildlife populations, develop strategies for habitat conservation, and collaborate with other environmental organizations to advance conservation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data collection and analysis to assess ecosystem health.
  • Design and execute conservation programs for endangered species.
  • Maintain accurate records of research activities and findings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance conservation strategies.
  • Report on the progress of conservation efforts to management.
  • Conduct assessments of site conditions to identify potential restoration areas.
  • Foster partnerships with educational institutions for community engagement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecological Studies, or related discipline
  • Master's degree in Wildlife Management or related field is an asset
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in conservation science or ecological research
