Job Description

We are in search of a meticulous Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records and ensure accuracy in all accounting transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of bookkeeping principles, familiarity with accounting software, and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely processing of payroll and employee reimbursements.
  • Oversee financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Support the Finance Manager in developing financial policies.
  • Communicate with clients regarding their accounts and financial transactions.
  • Contribute to improving financial efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • A-Level or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
Technical Skills
  • Xero
  • Microsoft Excel
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication
Certifications
  • AAT Level 2 or 3
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards: Understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP for preparing financial statements.
  • Experience with client relationship management: Proven ability to maintain positive client interactions and resolve issues.
