DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud infrastructure, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our cloud environments, ensuring seamless operations and high availability of services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on infrastructure design and implementation for cloud-based solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
• Integrate monitoring solutions to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Research and recommend new technologies and tools that can improve DevOps practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing or DevOps

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Bash/Shell Scripting

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of security best practices: Understanding cloud security principles and compliance regulations.
• Experience with Python: Ability to write scripts or applications using Python.
