As a Continuous Mining Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining mining equipment, ensuring smooth mining operations while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate continuous mining machines and ensure their effective maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Ensure that all mining activities comply with operational procedures.
• Work alongside fellow operators to maximise efficiency.
• Report any safety incidents or hazards to the Mine Supervisor.
• Assist in training new staff on operating protocols.
• Utilise mining-specific software for data management and analysis.
• Engage in regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mining Engineering or a related field
• Valid driving license

Experience

• Experience working in underground mines is advantageous.
