Metal-Refining Furnace Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Smelter to join our team. As a Smelter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to extract metals from various raw materials. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of smelting techniques and processes, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of smelting equipment to ensure efficient metal extraction.
• Adjust settings on equipment based on monitored data to optimize processes.
• Provide training to new staff on safety practices and equipment handling.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement solutions to restore function.
• Support the implementation of waste reduction methods in the production process.
• Document production activities and report on progress to management.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certifications in metallurgy are preferable

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
