Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Seam Steamer to join our team. In this role, you will operate steam machines to remove wrinkles and enhance the appearance of fabric seams. Your attention to detail and efficiency will be crucial for the delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate and maintain steam machines used for fabric finishing.
• Regularly inspect garments for wrinkles and creases that need attention.
• Ensure the correct steaming techniques are applied to preserve fabric integrity.
• Work alongside the production team to meet output targets effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Adjust steam machine settings as necessary to ensure high-quality results.
• Keep the workspace tidy and compliant with workplace regulations.
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards during the finishing process.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff in proper steaming procedures.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Seam Steamer or in a similar role is highly desirable.
