Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Chemical Engineer to join our expanding team in Aberdeen. In this role, you'll apply your engineering knowledge to develop, design, and optimise chemical processes while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and engineering principles, keen analytical skills, and a drive for innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects aimed at improving and innovating chemical production techniques.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials and equipment.
  • Monitor production metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct safety audits and health assessments.
  • Compile and analyse data to support process decisions.
  • Work with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Master's degree with a focus on Chemical Process Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical process engineering
