Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Luton. In this role, you will provide high-quality veterinary care to a range of animals, ensuring their health and wellbeing. You will perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and deliver effective treatment plans while working closely with pet owners to promote health education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform health checks and routine procedures for pets.
  • Manage emergency cases with swift and effective treatment.
  • Implement vaccination programmes and health screenings.
  • Keep precise medical documentation for all patients.
  • Provide support and guidance to pet owners throughout treatment.
  • Collaborate with specialists when necessary for complex cases.
  • Ensure ethical standards in all veterinary practices.
  • Mentor and train junior staff as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • RCVS membership preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience
