Job Description

As a Shell Molding Roller Blast Operator at MetalWorks Foundry, you will be instrumental in the production of metal castings. This role involves operating and maintaining sand molding and casting machines, ensuring that quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operation of sand molding and casting machines.
• Handle the rolling of filled molds into ovens skilfully.
• Employ blasting techniques to prepare finished castings.
• Conduct thorough inspections of castings for quality assurance.
• Carry out regular machine maintenance to uphold performance.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain production efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Support team efforts in pouring molten metal and other production tasks.

Requirements

Education

• No specific qualifications required
• Previous experience in casting or foundry preferred

Experience

• Experience in a physically demanding role is essential.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of sand blasting techniques

Languages
