Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Engineer to design and implement advanced traffic control systems to address congestion issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of transportation engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement traffic management plans for urban development projects.
• Analyse data to improve traffic signal timing and reduce congestion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transportation planning projects.
• Evaluate existing traffic control systems and recommend improvements.
• Manage stakeholder communication and public consultations.
• Develop reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies for traffic improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
• Professional Engineer license in the UK

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in traffic engineering with a focus on urban planning.

Technical Skills

• Membership in relevant engineering organisations

Languages

• English: Fluent
