Job Description

We are excited to welcome a passionate Home Economics Teacher to our team, focused on equipping students with practical life skills. You will play an essential role in fostering student engagement through interactive lessons that cover cooking, nutrition, meal planning, and household management.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
  • Advise students on best practices in meal planning and budgeting.
  • Assess and report on student progress, adjusting lessons as needed.
  • Engage with parents to communicate student progress and achievements.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Home Economics, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) is desirable
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Home Economics or related subjects
