Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our innovative team in Luton. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and testing aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to create cutting-edge solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine aerospace engineering processes and methodologies.
• Work on project timelines to ensure on-time delivery of solutions.
• Engage in design reviews to critique and validate project designs.
• Implement improvements based on testing results.
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders for materials and components.
• Participate in safety assessments and risk management activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• PhD in Aerospace Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace design and analysis

Technical Skills

• CFD Software
• Autodesk Inventor

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Leadership

Certifications

• FAA Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in UAV development: Background in the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
• Familiarity with European regulations: Knowledge of aerospace regulations, particularly in the EU market.
