Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you'll oversee health promotion activities, manage community health projects, and conduct health assessments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring effective public health interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate public health campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assess community health needs through surveys and data collection.
  • Engage with the community to promote health resources and services.
  • Compile and analyse health data to identify trends.
  • Participate in policy-making discussions to enhance public health standards.
  • Lead educational sessions on health issues confronting the community.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
  • Draft health communication materials for public awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or community health work
