Job Description

The Ear Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining specialized equipment used for diagnosing and treating hearing impairments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of ear-related medical procedures while providing support to audiologists.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on all ear testing equipment.
  • Assist in fitting patients with hearing aids and providing guidance on usage.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for equipment repairs and updates.
  • Document patient interactions and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational or technical qualification in audiology or a related field
  • First Aid certification (preferable)
Experience
  • Experience in conducting hearing assessments and knowledge of audiology regulations is beneficial.
